Budh Puja should be performed to strengthen the positive influence of Mercury and to reduce the malefic effects of a weak or afflicted Budh in the birth chart. In Vedic astrology, Mercury represents intellect, speech, memory, analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and adaptability. When Budh is weak, a person may face problems such as poor communication, confusion in decision-making, learning difficulties, business losses, anxiety, and nervous system-related issues.

Performing Budh Puja enhances mental clarity, improves concentration, and refines communication skills, helping individuals express thoughts clearly and confidently. This puja is especially recommended for students preparing for exams, professionals involved in communication-based roles, traders, and businesspersons. Budh Puja helps remove misunderstandings, sharpens reasoning power, improves financial planning, and supports overall intellectual and emotional balance in life.
